Creating Community – Caring for the Environment

From a ‘pond trolley park’ in 2009 to a multi-award winning pond arena. From a derelict play area in 2017 to a fun, safe place for young kids with views across the Mersey. Now ROC has begun a long term strategy to transform the field and woodland.
A journey full of strategic vision, community commitment and hard work.

Nestled between Mersey Road and Riversdale Road in the Aigburth area of south Liverpool, we are an inclusive community determined to welcome all who pass through to enjoy the beauty we have, and are, creating.
Our mission is to create a strong, caring and authentic community, and care for the extensive 20 acres of varied woodland, field, pond and play area we have on our doorstep – so that they can be shared and enjoyed by the wider community for many years to come.

Fundraising Appeal

Last year we brought the wildflower meadow to the community which had a massive impact through a growth in birds, bees, wasps, ladybirds and other wildlife.

We are fundraising to continue developing our work to upgrade and sustain the meadow, mounds and forest.

You can support us through our Just Giving page, The Co-op Community Scheme or by making a donation here.

Fundraising total: £640 of a £1500 goal.
